The 2027 sailing season of Viking’s 15-day Magnificent Mekong cruisetour is now open for sale. The Viking Tonle, set to debut on the Mekong River in October 2025, means Viking will have two river ships sailing this region and a total of 70 departure dates in 2027 to meet strong consumer demand for Mekong voyages.

It’s early days, but Viking’s venture into China ocean cruising appears to be paying off and that’s in part because the People’s Republic of China needs foreign tourists and Viking is helping to bring them in by the boatload.
